 Opa means many things in different languages.

How OPA-O's came to be.
Stewart has been
making sloppy joes for over 30 years. He has made them, by
request, for church functions, charity events and basically as
he put it “everytime his wife told me to”. The idea to turn
his famous seasoning mix into a company, OPA-O's didn’t come
until he lost his job in early 2009.
