Opa-O's
No Sodium Spices Original Sloppy Joe Recipe
1 Lb. Ground Beef, Turkey, Pork or Meat Substitute
Equivalent
1 Package Opa-O's No Sodium Spices (Original)
1 TBSP. Vinegar
1 TBSP. Water
2 Cups Ketchup (Substitute Low-Sodium if Required)
Brown meat and drain. Add other ingredients and bring to a simmer. Simmer on low for 30 minutes or put in a crock-pot on low all day.
For a South of the Border twist add:
1 Cup Favorite flavor of Salsa

Opa-O's No Sodium Spices Chili Recipe
1 Lb. Ground Beef, Ground Turkey, or Meat Substitute Equivalent
1 Package Opa-O's No Sodium Spices (Original)
Tomato Juice
1 Can No Salt Added Kidney Beans
2 Cans No Salt Added Chili Beans
1 Can Mexican Style Stewed Tomatoes (Your desired spiciness level)
Brown meat and drain. Add other ingredients to crock pot. Add Meat to Crock-Pot. Let Chili Simmer all day on low.
Top with Sour Cream, Shredded Cheese, or Crackers for your enjoyment. |

Opa-O's No Sodium Spices
Calico Beans
1 can lima or baby butter beans
2 cans pork & beans
2 cans kidney beans, can use red or black beans also
¼ lb browned bacon
1 lb ground beef
½ c chopped onion or minced onion to taste
4 TB vinegar
½ c ketchup
1/3 c brown sugar
3 TB dry mustard
1 ½ TB OPA-O’s No Sodium Spice Mix
Mix all ingredients together and bake 1-2 hours at 325 degrees.

Opa-O's
No Sodium Spices Pulled Pork
2 lbs pork tenderloin/roast
1 packet OPA-O’s No Sodium Spice Mix
2 c ketchup
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp water
Place pork roast in a slow cooker. Cook on Low 6-7 hours. Remove pork from crock pot and using two forks shred pork. Return to crock pot. Combine remaining ingredients together and place over pulled pork, stirring gently to cover all the shredded pork. Cook on Low 1-2 hours longer.
